It is designed to read cards only and does not program them. It is ideal for use in areas where proximity cards are necessary such as in access control for offices, warehouses, schools and other buildings. The product is not HID compatible and requires at least 4 wires for power. Overall, customers were satisfied with the functionality and performance of the card reader. Its waterproof feature allows it to be used in any weather condition. The compact size makes it easy to install and fit on any surface. However, there were some issues with the compatibility of the reader as it does not work with HID products.
