soru: Is there a way to turn the beep sound off? It wakes me up when the diffuser shuts off.

Cevap: I use only distilled water with my diffuser, because I want to keep it looking nice. My tap water is relatively hard and would eventually make the reservoir crusty and discolored. With the LEDs shining through it, the diffuser might look cruddy from the outside, too, during operation. I doubt simple tap water would impede the device’s primary, olfactory function. The decision to use distilled water is purely visual. If your tap water is relatively soft (i.e. low in minerals), then obtaining distilled water is an unnecessary hassle, expense, and use of resources. If you don’t know whether your water is hard or soft, it’s probably pretty soft. Hard water leaves many clues.
