Jeffrey Archer introduces Detective William Warwick in his latest novel, "Nothing Ventured," which promises to be the first in a series. The book follows Warwick's career as he investigates an art heist, and gets tied up in a murder trial. Despite the multiple storylines, the book is a page-turner that provides a fascinating insight into the world of art heists and criminal trials from the perspective of the police. The character development of Warwick and the supporting characters is impressive, and the book is a satisfying read, despite a slightly rushed ending. The story is well-written and suspenseful, with an ironic twist at the end.
