General Finishes Wood Stain can open up a world of easy-to-achieve possibilities for revitalizing, changing color or achieving an ideal finish for wood furniture, cabinets and floors. The heavy-bodied gel flows evenly (no drips or runs) for consistent color control, minimizing uneven penetration that causes blotching. Optional sanding between coats and a quick recoat time combine to produce an excellent hand-rubbed look in less time with less effort. This Java gel stain is available in many different colors, which can be combined with each other in any proportion to create custom colors. For extra durability and protection, use General Finishes Gel Topcoat or one of General Finishes water-based products, such as Poly Acrylic Top Coat or High Performance Polyurethane Top Coat (each sold separately). This gel wood stain goes on evenly for a more professional final look.
