- The Tapco Pro 19 Siding Brake delivers added value with more efficient bending, storing material inside the brake to reduce time-consuming handling and flipping of material. This version of this Tapco brake weighs in at just 121 pounds for maximum portability. The Tapco Pro 19 aluminum brake efficiently creates soffit, fascia, custom brick mold, gutter aprons, chimney flashing, drip edges, window casing, and sill trim, and easily produces flashing for any roof application. It can bend a 16 ounce copper sheet and coil, .030 soft aluminum, and 28 gauge galvanized steel. The locking system on Tapco siding brakes is also more efficient than others, using a pulling motion rather than a pushing motion, allowing you to be closer to the tool when working with a large coil for example. The metal bending brake handles also allow you to get closer to the work compared to loop-design handles that can inhibit proximity.
